Coroner Stories

I share here some stories, though they are all true. Good stories are fiction, so these don’t really make that grade. But the truth of them burned something into me. I felt they might be stories, but I didn’t have the courage, or wisdom to fictionalize them. Maybe I thought there was some dishonesty in that. Maybe I still believed in the truth of things.

In any event, here they are. I have changed details and names, including my own. I am Dr. Sid Hawthorne.
